Export Incentive Scheme 2021 |
RoDTEP (Remission Of Duties And Taxes On Exported Products) Incentive Scheme has been launched by the Government Of India for the exporters on 1 January 2021. In this scheme you can claim rebate of Central, State and local duties/taxes/levies which are refunded under any other schemes.
To avail the scheme exporter shall make a claim for RoDTEP in the shipping bill by making a declaration as per below:
Custom House Agent (C.H.A) has to fill the below information at the time of filling shipping bill to avail the scheme.
- INFO TYPE = DTY
- INFO QFR = RDT
- INFO CODE = RODTEPY - If RoDTEP is availed
- = RODTEPN - If not availed
- INFO MSR = Qty of the items in UQC as per customs tariff act
- INFO UQC = UQC for the quantity indicated in INFO_MSR
- STATEMENT TYPE = DEC
- STATEMENT CODE = RD001
- Advance license - No
- Advance license + EPCG - No
- EPCG - No
- EPCG CUM DBK - YES
- Only DBK YES
- Free Shipping Bill YES
- Expire License - Free SB No
- SEZ YES
- EOU No
- No commercial value No
Please select No for MEIS scheme, you can say it is a replacement scheme of MEIS. If you will select Yes in MEIS box then your file will stuck in customs. MEIS scheme has been withdrawn on 31 Dec 2020
As of now AA & EOU can not avail RoDTEP.
Latest message from the ICEGATE on 9 Jan 2021: Exporters are getting RoDTEP amount indicated in their Shipping Bills. This is only notional and calculated at dummy rate, since the final rates are not notified by the Govt. The actual RoDTEP benefit will be available to the exporters once the rates are notified.
