Missing Container !!!!

Date.23-sep-2014, AHMEDABAD:
Today is the most challenging day in the history of my career of Logistics field. Container carrying Class 2.1 Hazardous cargo has been moved from ICD KHODIYAR for GATEWAY TERMINAL OF INDIA, MUMBAI on the train of CONCOR INDIA.  As per the report of CONCOR the container has been gated in the terminal on 19-09-2014 23:30:00 HRS on JNPT.

Now the issue is the shipping line is unable to find the container on any of the yard of NSICT / GTIL. Even DP World & APM-GTIL itself unable to find the container on their respective terminals & systems.  Now the NSICT team is searching the container manually/Physically on the terminal.

Question arise that where & who has mistaken and who is responsible for this much of big error?? Is PORT is responsible for not making the correct entry and position of the container or the Shipping Line is responsible for the miscommunication with the port?? OR the CONCOR is responsible for discharging the container of GTIL on JNPT???

Still the container is missing and nobody is taking responsibility of this missing container. This container is having the most dangerous-highly flammable cargo and if the container will get exploded then it will be the biggest failure of Nhava Sheva International Container Terminal.  And what does it mean for ADVANSED SHIPPING INSTRUCTION & PRE-ALERT if the Shipping line does not know where the container is…..

Once again, Exporter will BLAME the CHA & FREIGHT FORWERDER for the matter. Nobody will blame to the PORT & SHIPPING LINE. This is the system called LOGISTICS SERVICE PROVIDER …
